Student work is showcased in annual exhibitions for public exposure and feedback.
These art forms foster critical thinking, technical proficiency, and collaboration—whether in crafting a sculpture or coordinating a stage production.
Fine and performing arts influence society by inspiring change, provoking thought, and engaging audiences emotionally, intellectually, and aesthetically.
Performing and Fine Arts bring together a range of creative subjects that encourage imagination and personal expression. This includes visual arts like painting, sculpture, graphic design, and applied arts, as well as performing arts such as theatre, dance, and music. These areas help students build practical skills while developing an appreciation for the arts. Through creating, performing, and learning about different art forms, students also build confidence, work well with others, and better understand the importance of the arts in everyday life.
Our vision is to create an open and supportive environment where creativity is encouraged and valued. We aim to help individuals develop and express their artistic talents through strong programs in visual and performing arts. Through the arts, we strive to promote innovation, deepen cultural understanding, and contribute positively to the community.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive education and training in the visual and performing arts that nurtures creativity, technical skill, and critical thinking. We are committed to fostering artistic excellence, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, and empowering students to become innovative artists, engaged citizens, and lifelong learners who contribute meaningfully to the cultural and creative landscape.
We provide 100 percent placement support to our students. The university has a Central Placement Cell, headed by a placement officer and with a senior faculty member as its advisor. The placement cell organises many seminars, expert talks, and interactive sessions from time to time for the development of students’ skills.
