DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

Department of Fine Arts Where Imagination Meets Expression The Department of Fine Arts offers creative and skill-based programs that nurture artistic talent and visual storytelling. The curriculum blends traditional techniques with modern art practices, empowering students to express their vision through various mediums. 4-Year Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) BFA is an undergraduate program focused on developing core skills in painting, sculpture, applied arts, printmaking, and visual communication. Students explore both practical and theoretical aspects of art, preparing them for careers in design studios, advertising, illustration, galleries, and freelance artistry. 2-Year Master of Fine Arts (MFA) MFA is a postgraduate program that allows students to specialize in their chosen area of fine arts. It emphasizes advanced artistic research, conceptual development, and portfolio building. Graduates are equipped for roles as professional artists, art educators, curators, and creative directors.

We have a centralised computer facility that is equipped with the latest hardware and software technologies to provide computing resources and support services to students, faculty, and staff. The lab typically has a large number of computers with high-end processors, memory, storage, and graphics capabilities, as well as specialised software applications for various academic and research purposes.

Sports Facilities

To promote physical well - being, teamwork and a healthy work-life balance, we offer a wide range of sports facilities accessible to all students. The campus is equipped with indoor and outdoor sports amenities, including maintained grounds for cricket, football and athletics, as well as courts for kabaddi, volleyball and badminton. Indoor facilities feature table tennis, chess, carom and chess. Regular sports meets, inter-departmental tournaments and fitness activities are organized to foster a spirit of teamwork, discipline and resilience — qualities essential to the legal profession or other profession. These opportunities help law students unwind, build companionship and maintain mental and physical fitness alongside their rigorous academic pursuits.

Hall

The University provides hall facilities to support a wide range of academic, cultural and co - curricular activities. Our multi - purpose halls are spacious, well ventilated including stage and sound systems, usually used for hosting seminars, guest lectures, conferences, workshops and student - led events. These halls serve as vibrant venues for programs in different occasions, competitions, debates and cultural programs, encouraging active student participation and public engagement. Designed to promote an atmosphere of collaboration and intellectual exchange the hall facilities play a crucial role in complementing the academic experience and nurturing leadership and presentation skills among students.
